Fall is quickly approaching and while the Summer is nearing its end, there’s still plenty left to be enjoyed.

The US tennis open is set to begin on Monday, August 25th. It will mark the 134th edition of the event. In the tennis world, it is the fourth and final Grand Slam event of the calendar year. For many of the top tennis players in the world, the US Open presents the opportunity to be classified as one of the elite players, if not the elite player, in the world. The event features the likes of Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Andy Murray and many more from the men’s side. From the women’s side, there is the popular and talented Williams sisters, Venus and Serena. There’s also Czech, Petra Kvitova and the talented Serbian, Ana Ivanovic. These are just some of the many women getting set to take on the best tennis players in the world during the US Open.

While, the US Open is a important and huge event in itself, it should be noted that this will take place in the New York. But most accurately in Flushing, Queens. With some of the best players having to come during this current generation, the sport popularity has gotten its bump.
