Travelers always have an abundance of question so with questions running array about the Transportation Security Administration’s PreCheck program travelers can get all their answers to their questions at the three information sessions planned this month at John Wayne Airport (SNA) and use transportation services to them there. The PreCheck began at Los Angeles International Airport last year and was debuted in 2011. The TSA says about 4 million travelers have enrolled so far.

With hectic schedules from packing, to airport transportation travelers in the PreCheck program are permitted to leave their shoes, coats and belts on throughout the security screening to make the travel time less daunting. They also do not have to take out their laptops or liquids from their carry-on luggage. However, frequent-flier programs are not the single point of entry.  This past September, Loews Hotels & Resorts presented free enrollment and waived the $100 fee in Global Entry. Though members of frequent-flier programs with selected airlines such as Alaska, American, Delta, United and US Airways are qualified to apply. Also, members previously in one of the Trusted Traveler programs authorized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection meet the requirements for the quicker screening.

Transportation services to get your to the airport photoBefore starting the program at John Wayne, the TSA will carry out meetings at a temp information center in Terminal A from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Monday and Wednesday of this month. Those who are interested in registering will be able to begin the application process into the Trusted Traveler programs such as Global Entry for international travel, SENTRI for U.S.-Canada travel and NEXUS for U.S.-Mexico travel. Travelers who are gearing to head up to the airport are using limousine and car services to get them to the airport

To join Global Entry, applicants must fill out an online application, pay $100, submit their fingerprints, undergo a background check and be interviewed by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer.
